Category Manager Goods For Resale (£65K - 12 month FTC)

A leading leisure company, who have recently been backed by PE, are looking to for an experienced Category Manager to cover the Goods For Resale category over a 12 month period. You will be involved in sourcing an extremely broad range of goods across numerous sites in the UK.

Location: Hertfordshire (Flexible working location)

Role: Category Manager Goods For Resale - 12 month FTC

Salary: £65K + 20% Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Manages the commercial relationship with suppliers that fulfil the Retail plans, strategies and propositions across the brands bringing the best that the market has to offer.
• Work with the Supply Chain team to develop and manage the strategic partnerships key to the brand Retail business.
• Play a key role in the Procurement Team supporting and contributing to procurement strategy.
• Accountable for Going to market, sourcing, procuring, negotiating, contracting and ongoing category management of all supplier spend in Retail.
• Responsible for development and successful execution of category strategies, and strategic relationships.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Deep Expertise in strategic sourcing and category management in Goods For Resale / Retail environment.
• Proven history of developing and executing sourcing and procurement engagements that return substantial value
• Strong Stakeholder management experience
• MCIPs qualified
