Role: Category Manager CAPEX

Location: Southampton [Hybrid working]

Package: Circa £55K Depending on Experience 25 Days + Bank + Private Healthcare + Car Allowance

Do you have experience in a PFI environment? Do you want to Drive Category strategy in and Engineering & Construction team adding value across the delivery of large complex infrastructure projects?

We are at the start of a 10 year investment programme with a £4 Billion budget and this role is critical to the success, wider transformation and delivery of project goals. As a member of the Engineering & Construction CAPEX team, you will lead in the development and implementation of relevant category strategies. The key objective being to inform and influence business strategies and align category strategies to maximise value, contain cost and communicate to the wider business using a total cost of ownership model.

By optimising the specialist skills of the wider group you will be expected to deliver strategy across procurement that is driven driven by you - cradle to grave - form design through implementation and delivery. - timely, cost effective services, utilising a total cost of ownership model to meet company targets in cost reduction, savings and profitability.
