A market leading, multinational provider of specialist defence technology is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Category Buyer to join their Procurement team.

The role sits in the Corporate Professional Services and IT & Telecoms Category. While the primary focus is IT, you will also have the opportunity to assist with Professional Services.

Role & Experience:

• Accountable for the development and execution of the IT Subcategory Plan which feeds into the overall Category Plan
• Act as IT Procurement subject matter expert, gathering market insights to inform and influence Category and Stakeholder Business Plans
• Flaunt your ability and expertise, take on additional responsibility and get noticed by senior Procurement leaders in a supportive, progressive environment
• Joint responsibility for c£30m of IT spend
