Buyer (£45K)

A highly innovative, technology led automotive brand are looking for to expand their commercial team by recruiting an Buyer / Commercial Officer to cover a broad range of challenges which are not limited to risk management support, supplier negotiation, financial reporting & potentially business development.

Location: Surrey

Title: Automotive Buyer

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Experience:

• Strong technical understanding of Automotive engineering & purchasing commodities, including relationships within a commercial supply chain
• Ability to provide guidance in complex commercial and contractual relationships with a good understanding of legal contracts
• Manages cross functional teams in a contract negotiation, so that all understand the terms
• Develop detailed and intelligent commodity/category strategies that align with the organisation's commercial and technology roadmaps
• Understanding of Automotive supplier categories
• Working knowledge of SAP, able to use Excel
