Assistant Procurement Manager, based in Birmingham

Assisting the Procurement Manager, this is your chance to make a difference and be involved in major procurement projects across the end to end lifecycle of procurement strategies and plans.

Working from project initiation - liaising with stakeholders to ascertain business needs through to contract award…. therefore, your established strategic sourcing skills will be used to the full.

You will have gained strong contract management experience with excellent ability to manage a diverse range of suppliers, negotiating and delivering excellent value add.

What do they need:

You will have gained experience across Indirects spend areas which may include Marketing, HR, Professional Services, Consultancy, Legal, Office Consumables etc.

Additional experience in managing Utilities contracts is a distinct advantage as is some experience of OJEU
