Locations: Milton Keynes (2 days p/w in the office) - UK office

Salary: Up to £60K + corporate package

Joining an high profile, award-winning Procurement team with a global remit-

1st Executive are seeking a Procurement Manager on behalf of a high-profile organisation. This is a fantastic new role sitting in an award-winning global capability!

Role- Procurement Manager;

  • Joining a key function, working in the Global Sourcing team focusing on the Sourcing of indirect services, you will be responsible for the delivery of end to end complex sourcing projects across the breadth of the indirect spend category.
  • You will engage senior level stakeholders, nurturing relationships to ensure the value of Procurement is recognised.
  • Responsible for delivering multiple tenders and negotiations for the category, drafting and issuing RFx documentation, completing offer analysis inclusive of technical and commercial scoring, negotiating contractual and commercial terms, preparing recommendations for the client.
  • Supporting the Category Manager in the definition and execution of strategies for the different spend areas.
  • Participating in internal company continuous improvement projects and initiatives, including internal training initiatives and supplier forums

Experience:

  • Procurement experience gained in the Indirect spend category
  • Proven experience of delivering indirect sourcing projects
  • Ability to work well in a high volume, and demonstrate delivery on fast-paced multi project environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skill-set; demonstrating success in influencing decision making
  • Ideally experience gain in a "Blue-chip" organisation or Consultancy organisation
  • Degree or CIPS qualified is preferred
