1st Executive are mandated with a well known broadcast media organisation, who are going through a period of growth and acquisition. We're specifically looking for someone to take ownership of all things category and sourcing. Mainly aligned to strategic sourcing experience in HR/Professional Services category.

What is the role…

The role holder will be a Senior Category and Sourcing Manager in the HR and Professional Services Category and Sourcing Team. A key focus of the role will be developing business-aligned Category Strategies and Sourcing Plans to optimise spend and risk management for spend categories within HR and Professional Services, so the role would be suited to applicants with proven experience of delivering results in some or all of the following spend categories: HR Services (including Reward & Benefits, Learning, Training & Development, Employee Relations and HR Operations), Temp and Perm Recruitment, Corporate and Professional Services, including Management Consultancy, Legal Services, Audit and Advisory. Knowledge and experience of using and deploying Vendor Management Systems to control services spend would also be beneficial. ­­­­­­­­­­

The role holder will have proven experience of leading and executing Strategic Sourcing process, using Strategic Sourcing tools, systems and techniques to deliver sourcing projects in a compliant manner.

The role holder will provide a level of category knowledge and strategic sourcing execution support to manage commercial negotiations with third parties, liaise with key business users across the organisation to ensure favourable commercial terms which mitigate business risk. Ensuring end to end sourcing cycle visibility, creating line of sight on demand, cost, service and risk and support the Sourcing team with the day to day management of key stakeholders and executing deals according to the category strategy, policy and agreed timelines.
