Our client a Major Retail organisation are now seeking a dynamic, and forward thinking Commercial manager to join the team.
You will play a key role in developing relationships with the regional divisions,stakeholders and suppliers, sourcing and developing branded products and ranges to meet commercial requirements within the frozen and wine categories.
Key duties include:
Develop, review and deliver national terms and agreements, negotiating best price and added value
Analyse supplier promotions and marketing plans
Build strong relationships with the regional teams and key stakeholders to deliver trading plans
Analyse market trends ensuring trading plans match with market needs
Plan and negotiate budgets driving performance and growth
Drive category growth in relation to category business plans, via promotional and sales plans.
Graduate or equivalent
Proven experience of buying and/or selling products within a fmcg, foodservice, retail or wholesale organisation
Communicate, negotiate and manage a large supplier base achieving measurable benefits and objectives
Proven experience of building effective relationships with individuals and groups with differing needs and for whom there is no line authority
