Role: Supplier Assurance Manager

Location: Northampton / Flexible

Salary: Up to £55K + Package

Are you a Supplier Risk & Assurance Manager with experience of working on Supplier Resilience on behalf of 'blue-chip' global clients? This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team who have responsibility for conducting Third Party Risk assessments across the Global Procurement function.

Overview:

As a Supplier Resilience Manager, you'll be based within the Procurement Function which is responsible for all aspects of working with supplier resources, from selection to payment and termination of relationships. You will work post implementation of contracts with all suppliers and internal stakeholders across the Organisation to deliver innovative solutions, balancing costs against service levels and risks, enabling the group to achieve its ambition of becoming the bank of choice.

  • Supporting and delivering against Procurement / Supplier Managements Supplier Resilience approach, ensuring the establishment of effective governance / controls
  • Working with Supplier Management Category Leads and Supplier Managers to ensure robust Supplier Resilience controls are in place for in-scope Suppliers
  • Working with the Supplier Manager to support regular oversight and assurance around the Suppliers 'In House' Resilience Testing Programme
  • Leading periodic review and analysis of Services and Supplier Resilience Plans and identifying vulnerabilities in coverage and achievability
  • Supporting Supplier Resilience Testing through working closely with Resilience SMEs to ensure accurate and effective testing
  • Supporting the Supplier Manager to drive the identification and remediation of gaps in Supplier Resilience and identify & implement innovative solutions to mitigate Resilience risks

Experience:

  • Proven risk management capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to effectively apply conceptual thinking into real operational
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Preferably a degree calibre or other advanced qualification
  • Self-motivation with an experience of self-starting and an ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload
  • Process-orientation and the ability to develop processes for consistent management and oversight
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
