Site Buyer

Package: Salary to £45k + Benefits + Excellent Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Buyer to deliver best value cost savings as part of a small team, with the potential to get involved in strategic projects.

Based in Harlow, Essex with the potential for working from home 1-2 days per week subject to team needs.

In this role you will support the Procurement Manager with responsibility for the operational (transactional) purchasing activities (tendering, PO creation, invoice query resolution, master data (in conjunction with the systems and process team) and follow-up on the purchases with the sites and suppliers - managing quality, time, cost issues etc.

Key requirements:

SAP

Ability to negotiate

Strong stakeholder management

Demonstrable purchasing, finance, accounts experience in a manufacturing environment

Numerate

Excellent communication & negotiation skills - internal customer focussed

Commercial acumen

Transactional purchasing \ AP experience advantage ; SAP R/3 MM experience

Travel - Within country between sites ; Europe occasional
