Senior Procurement Officer - Construction - up to £56K per annum - London

A vibrant, diverse and enterprising public sector organisation is recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a truly unique opportunity as you will be part of major projects taking place in the next few years thus giving you the chance to broaden your procurement experience and get involved with big budget spends.

You will report into the Head of Operations and take lead on development and maintenance of procurement strategies in order to attain excellence.

Provide support to each of the Heads of Service in the Corporate Procurement and liaise with business units to better understand their specific needs.

Lead and manage the tendering process and implement financial strategies to support the organisation.

Support key stakeholders in supplier relationship and contract management and prepare and lead on Social Value Initiatives.

Act as the key point of contact for Strategic Procurement and maintain excellent working relationships.

Support in house training and workshops and provide technical and contractual advice to technical and non technical clients.
