1st-Executive are mandated with a global Insurance organisation, currently searching for a Senior Procurement Manager to manage a broad range of indirect categories, along side management of a team of 5. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-known FS organisation who are operating in global markets.

This procurement function selects and manages third party suppliers. The aim of the function is to protect the business against commercial, operational and regulatory risk whilst delivering value for money for budget holders.

The Procurement Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of all strategic Procurement activity.

Main responsibilities are the below;

Lead a team of 5 Procurement professionals and , setting objectives, work flow management and also personal development, providing guidance and support


* Accountable for all Procurement practices across the group function.
* To oversee the management of all non-underwriting supplier negotiations and relationships
* Accountable for designing, training, and embedding the Procurement and Outsourcing framework
* Lead and develop procurement team with a focus on efficiency and compliance
* Lead commercial negotiations and review contractual arrangements
* To provide first stop in-house contractual advice in relation to supplier contracts
* Make contributions to the wider procurement agenda, participating in Global procurement committee
* Accountable for the management and oversight of the third-party risk process
* Accountable for the continued review of procurement processes both internal and external, awareness of market and regulatory changes to governance.
* To maintain the Procurement and Outsourcing Policy and corresponding documents in accordance with regulatory requirements
* Oversee the annual procurement plan for renewals to ensure that the contract meets the business needs and is up to date with new regulations
* Act as the expert for the procurement of the nominated business area and always ensure that there is proper compliance with the regulatory policies
