Senior Engagement Analyst specialised in Human Rights and Social Issues, will play a significant role in implementing engagement activities on social issues and controversies and identify our data needs to monitor portfolios.

This role will entail conducting engagement activities with investee companies on key identified sectors either internally, through collaborative engagements or via our asset manager partners. Additionally, this position requires reviewing existing data tools for investors and making recommendations to strengthen our methodology to identify risks in investments.

Role: Senior Analyst Human Rights & Social Issues

Location: London / Edinburgh (party remote)

Salary: up to £95K + up to 30% bonus + other benefits

About you:

This role would suit someone who has previously held positions ​​​​​​such as: Stewardship Analyst, Engagement Analyst, Human Rights Specialist / Social Issues, ESG Analyst, ESG Research Analyst with relevant industry experience on corporate engagement and human rights/social issues.

You will demonstrate institutional investment experience within either an asset manager, an asset owner or a specialised consultancy setting with strong knowledge of existing standards such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and implications for institutional investors.

You will be able to prove experience on engaging with companies individually and collaboratively on human rights and social issues across markets and sectors, with some regulatory knowledge.
