Role: Senior Commercial Manager [ Procurement ]

The company are embarking on a significant major infrastructure project to upgrade essential utilities that support local communities across the UK. This role plays a integral part in the success of that project.

We are looking for a Senior Procurement & Commercial Lead to bring your commercial knowledge and expertise surrounding stakeholder management and influence to drive this major project forwards. Implement and deliver category, sourcing & commercial management strategies leading and managing a team of Category Managers / Commercial Managers to achieve the project goals.

The role is client facing and requires executing pre and post contract processes and procedures to deliver quality assured procurement & commercial management, manage all associated commercial activity to achieve value creation and minimise total cost of ownership.

You should demonstrate a significant knowledge of contract conditions and their application. Experience from PFI environments in a NEC3 / NEC4 framework will be critical as too would expertise surrounding I Chem E and ICE contract forms and drafting. A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar including significant experience of Cost Management and/or Quantity Surveying for large projects and framework arrangements would be fundamental to your success in this role.
