Energy and Automation giant French company based in Paris, France are looking for a Purchasing Manager Capex & Indirect to join their procurement team. The company has presence in over 100 countries globally with €30 billion in revenue

The successful candidate will be responsible for €200 million spend across different commodities and work with cross functional teams globally.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for €200 million spend for Capex & Indirect
• Leadership responsibilities & managing a team
• Strategically collaborate with the cross-functional teams to influence and create unique purchasing methods
• Work directly with R&D to create unique and innovative products
• Play an important part in the global transformation and delivering global projects
• Reporting directly to purchasing director & CPO
• 30% travel, Europe, China, South & North America

Skills Experience Required

• Relevant degree, mechanical engineering or MBA is preferred
• 5+ years of experience preferably from the industrial background
• Successful track record in purchasing and negotiations with suppliers globally
• Experience with purchasing indirect materials such as: MRO, Capex, Spare Parts, Indirects
• Fluent in English and French
