Procurement Transformation Manager - South Coast / West Sussex

A private utility company are currently undergoing a transformation which will strategically change the way the function operates. This transformation programme is driven by the increasingly disruptive impact of digital technology on procurement and the evolving levels of opportunity for value to be driven from our existing and potential vendor relationships.

Role:

• Define the approach that Procurement will take to deliver strategic and tactical change, ensuring the continuous improvement of the function
• Drive the successful adoption and sustainability of new ways of working, both within Procurement and through interactions with the wider business
• Support with the development, implementation and adoption of a new demand management approach to provide efficient planning and forecasting across the Procurement function

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a business administration, commerce, finance, engineering or other relevant discipline
• Recognised qualification in procurement e.g. CIPS or equivalent would be an advantage
• Experienced project/ programme manager professional with proven knowledge gained from a Professional Procurement organisation
• Demonstrable experience of core project/ programme managers skills (establishing methodologies, tracking, risk analysis etc.)
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of the Procurement lifecycle, processes and functions
