We're looking for a Procurement Specialist to join a growing Infrastructure Team supporting major construction and investment projects across the North-West. You'll work at the heart of a 10-year+ investment programme, helping shape procurement strategies, engage with suppliers and deliver strong commercial outcomes.

The Role:

This is a hands-on Procurement role with real project impact. You'll work closely with project teams, contractors and professional partners to develop and deliver procurement approaches that balance cost, risk, programme and scalability.

You'll be involved throughout the procurement lifecycle, from market engagement and tendering through to commercial evaluation and contract award, as wells as helping identify opportunities to add value across the supply chain.

• Supporting Procurement of construction and infrastructure packages, including civils, building and associated works
• Managing day-to-day procurement activity across the full, tender lifecycle
• Supporting market engagement, tendering, evaluation and contract award
• Working with project teams to ensure procurement aligns with programme and delivery requirements
• Reviewing tender returns, pricing, scope and commercial assumptions
• Building effective relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and potential savings
• Supporting value engineering, cost discussions and budget considerations
• Maintaining procurement documentation and ensuring governance requirements are met

You'll ideally have:

• Procurement, Commercial, or Supply Chain experience, ideally with some interface with construction / infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with project teams, suppliers or contractors
• The ability to understand pricing and commercial cost.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
