1st Executive are working with a leading UK 'Blue-Chip' organisation based in West Sussex to identify an experienced professional to join our clients busy Commercial department as a Procurement Policy and Procedures Assistant.
The role is responsible for the ongoing development, improvement and documentation associated with our client's procurement activities, systems, and policies to support the Procurement function and the business as a whole. This will include the control and update to the Procurement Procedures Manual and other key Procurement governance/procedure documents including the Procurement toolbox.
The jobholder will be responsible for completing governance and assurance checks on procurement processes, ordering and sourcing processes and review compliance reports highlighting exceptions. Will assist in ongoing process improvements. You will provide day-to-day super-user support, business system administration and develop training material for SAP SRM, MDM, CEMAR, transport databases, Bravo E-sourcing systems.
- Must have knowledge of organisation of compliance, process management and document management.
- Have the ability to utilise, and manage e-sourcing, P2P systems, document management systems.
- Must have awareness of procurement governance and risk management.
- The jobholder will be performance and delivery focussed with strong written and verbal communication skills.
