Procurement Manager / Procurement Consultant - Indirects

Salary: Up to £70,000, plus benefits
Location: Flexible, with some travel to Birmingham / Leeds / Manchester

A Public Sector Procurement Manager opportunity, sitting with a leading international Construction and Property Consultancy, renowned for delivering commercial, procurement and project management expertise across complex and varied projects.

This is an opportunity to work with a major Roads client, helping shape Indirect procurement strategies that deliver long-term value for nationally important projects.

Working within a collaborative consultancy environment, you'll advise clients throughout the procurement lifecycle, from early market engagement and commercial strategy through to contract award, while developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to complex end-to-end procurement exercises across major Indirect Services projects, which may include Estates, Depots, Occupational Health, and EV Charging Infrastructure
• Leading varying scales of procurement project from strategy to contract award
• Draft procurement documentation and evaluate supplier submissions.
• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.
• Contribute to business development activities, client relationship management and winning new work.

What We're Looking For

• Up-to-Date and current regulated Public Sector Procurement experience, including PA2023 and PCR2015.
• MCIPS, MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
• Confident delivering any scale of Public Sector Procurement project within Indirects.
• Strong understanding of UK Public Procurement regulations and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consultancy skills.
• Able to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability and problem-solving ability.
