Are you a procurement buyer / analyst, looking to take a role where you can get involved the largest and most strategic negotiations possible? Are you someone who is excited about rapid progression with a company that will allow for international relocation as part of your long term progression?

My client, a Global 500 who have doubled their profit in the last 5 years, are looking for ambitious and innovative procurement experts who have between 2-4 years' experience, and at least 3 months in sourcing direct products (goods for resale - finished products NOT raw materials), who is motivated to work on the largest tenders they have as a business.

You will be someone who has experience with sourcing finished products for resale, and ideally you come from a retail non-food sourcing background.

In this role, you will be sourcing extensively from suppliers from East Asia (China), and you will be working extensively with suppliers to innovate and drive product development. With these strategic relationships being a core focus of your role, you will be someone with strong relationship building skills who enjoys working with a diverse range of cultures and background.

This role is based in the beautiful city of Amsterdam and relocation assistance can be provided. My client is looking for candidates who are ambitious, self aware, adaptable, flexible and have excellent persuasion skills - a REAL natural leader.

Ideally, you will be someone who speaks German at least at a B1 level, as this will help building rapport with your internal stakeholders in the DACH region.

If this sounds like you, and you want to find out more, please contact me on Geoffrey.Reading@1st-Executive.com to arrange an initial conversation.
