Procurement Analyst

Our client a Major Global FMCG organisation are currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to join this dynamic and progressive team:

Your key duties will be:

• Analyse trends that impact the business and report performance against budget
• Provide information required to support cost mitigation activities
• Build and maintain forecast models
• Report performance of cost saving activities against forecast/budget
• Maintain the supplier price files and distribute to relevant parties in the business
• Collation and reporting of data trends
• Keep up to date on commodity markets by using tools such as Mintec and communicate the relevant data to the purchasing team
• Use market date to build robust cost forecasts, and re forecast when necessary
• Support the commercial finance team in the tracking, updating and reporting of results from specialist projects

Person Profile:

• Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc)
• Good use of Microsoft Office, Word, Access, PowerPoint
• Outstanding analytical skills & financially numerate
• Outstanding communication skills; both oral and written
• Ability to work to specific deadlines
• Confident in presenting data to multiple stakeholders
• Commercially astute
• Team worker who actively helps & supports others to achieve team & business goals
