Superb opportunity to join one of the worlds leading snacking companies on interim basis as a Packaging Buyer. This is an initial 9-month contract, paying up to £350p/d, sourcing various types of packaging for food products from anything such as paper, cardboard up to Thermoform.

My client has hundreds of years of family baking and confectionary experience, with a number of household brand names.

You will be in a team of 4 packaging buyers, soon to grow to 6, with an annual spend of £100m. As a packaging buyer you will be responsible for a spend of £10m, moving up to £30m.

What my client is looking for in you:

• Demonstrable experience procuring various types of packaging for products within the food and drink and/or retail industry.
• PPV (Purchase Price Variance) experience
• Experience working on previous projects that revolved around a new product launch.
• Food and Drink industry experience
• Strong SRM skills
