1st Executive is recruiting on behalf of a well-established private equity-backed business going through an exciting transformational period, offering a Procurement Category Manager role to have responsibility for the Marketing, Professional Services, IT and FM spends.

Role:

The jobholder will be responsible for sourcing Indirect Categories including IT, Marketing and FM, with a spend per annum of £150million per annum.

It is expected that the jobholder is able to implement category plans and sourcing strategy in line with business requirements.

The jobholder will support the procurement management with the provision of subject matter knowledge and work with them to define optimal strategies that deliver long-term value and efficiencies.

It is expected that the jobholder is able to manage the delivery of the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle and helping manage cross-functional stakeholders through the entire procurement lifecycle.

Experience:

As Category Manager, you will be able to demonstrate experience of sourcing a wide range of indirect categories, ideally Marketing, IT and Professional Services.

Track-record of delivering business strategies into procurement solution.
