1st Executive is recruiting on behalf of a market leading Global 'Blue-Chip' company, based in Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for hungry and ambitious IT Procurement professional to develop their skills and experience in a global procurement function.

You will be leading an I.T. Category of £60m and running projects from start to finish.

Role:

• The job holder will support the IT Cateogry Lead with the delivery of end to end sourcing projects
• Project will span the breath of the IT category and inlcude telecoms, software & hardware
• Key to you success will be the ability to conduct deep category analysis and market research in order to identify opportunities for innovation, cost saving and long term ROI across a spend of circa £60m
• From time to time you will have the opportunity the lead and manage the delivery of end to end sourcing projects

Experience

• Experience in the delivery of end to end IT procurement projects
• Demonstrates some experience of telecoms procurement
• Excellent track record engaging and influencing key stakeholders across the IT Function
• Experience in the full strategic sourcing cycle
• Demonstrates experience gained in a bluechip organisation
• Degree and MCIPS preferred
