An Interim Networks & Telecoms Vendor Manager at £425-475p/d is required for a global FTSE100 Oil & Gas Supermajor based in Greater London. An 11 month contract to the end of the year, likely to extend, this is an exciting opportunity within leading post-contract negotiations with suppliers and stakeholders across a global scale for a networks infrastructure project, for a candidate with a strong background in Networks & Telecoms contracts and vendor management, who is looking to develop their experience within a global, diverse and fast-paced function.

Role:

  • Post-award contract negotiation with vendors and suppliers globally
  • Source Networks & Telecoms globally from providers
  • Vendor management for data neworks and trader voice systems
  • Implementing a critical infrastructure project across Networks & Telecoms

Required Skills

  • Global Vendor management skills with Tier 1 providers across for post-award contract
  • Extensive experience of sourcing Network Services
  • Worked in global or multi country service environments with a proven track record of influencing large teams of a diverse nature
  • Previously worked in IT Outsourcing / IT Operations / IT Procurement
  • Demonstrable experience in Fixed Pricing, Firm Pricing, T&M, and Staff Augmentation constructs
  • Ability to interpret contract language and develop a position
  • Specific and in depth understanding of the category supply market and value drivers
  • Excellent negotiation skills with experience in negotiating multi-million commercial IT contracts
  • Ability to engage mid to senior business and IT personnel to win over stakeholders
