Interim Sourcing Manager (Professional Services) required to join a Financial Services company in Manchester on an initial 6 month contract paying £500 per day. This is an urgent requirement with telephone interviews likely to take place within 24 hours.

Our client currently has a high number of procurement projects taking place at various stages across the Professional Services category which requires an Interim contractor to provide urgent assistance.

Rather than managing the full procurement life cycle, you will focus on Business Engagement,

Sourcing Strategy and Execution. Although cost savings will be hugely important, key stakeholders will want absolute reassurance around sustainability and reliability of suppliers and therefore risk avoidance will be critical.

The role will provide relative autonomy so it is essential that you are able to manage your time effectively and you must be able to demonstrate the following;

• Extensive procurement experience across a broad range of indirect categories.
• Experience of working effectively in complex, global, blue chip organisations
• Successful delivery of Professional Services procurement projects (e.g. tax, audit, legal, consultancy)
• Risk avoidance experience (e.g. KYC)

Rate: £500 per day

Duration: initial 6 months
