Interim Quantity Surveyor - £635pd

Rate: £635 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Duration: 51 working days

Location: Staffordshire (3 days per week on-site)

Client: UK Government

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist team delivering high-value FM projects across the UK defence estate (programmes exceeding £100m).

The Role

You'll work independently to develop should-cost models and pricing booklets, supporting major facilities management projects. This includes:

• Producing cost estimates using in-house data and BCIS
• Building and adapting Excel-based pricing models
• Analysing tender submissions and preparing reports for business cases
• Collaborating with commercial teams to refine pricing strategies

What You'll Need

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 5 years' post-degree experience
• Strong Excel skills (essential)
• Experience in cost modelling, estimating, and tender analysis
• Ability to work autonomously within a collaborative team
