Interim Project Engineer £475pd

A great opportunity for an Interim Project Engineer to join a FTSE 100 FMCG company, to provide key, Capital Project support to their manufacturing sites.

A 12-month contract, offering up to £475 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), with a mixed approach to working from home and on site in Belfast.

The Role:

As Interim Project Engineer, you will be a crucial part of a global Team for Brands Supply Project Engineering, dedicated to Capital Projects for manufacturing, warehousing and packaging sites.

You will deliver Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop requirement specifications. You will deliver projects in line with technical specifications, develop cost estimates and project scheduling.

Responsible for efficient spend across CAPEX projects, you will co-ordinate and manage external resources. Throughout the end-to-end project life-cycle, you will ensure accurate financial data is maintained, including spends, forecasting and project closure.

You will manage any construction activities, oversee commissioning activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• A Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering background.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders across functions and geographies, to a senior level.
• Previous experience in a large, matrix organisation.
