Interim Programme Manager (Procurement) - £600 p/d

Our client, a global Financial Services organisation, seeks to recruit an INTERIM Programme Manager to support a major Procurement Transformation programme.

Role:

  • PMO team management - manage the PMO team to deliver an excellent PMO solution to the Programme Director and Workstream Leads, ensuring that there are clear roles & responsibilities, and that the team is working effectively and efficiently
  • Project planning & plan management - oversee the PMO team in producing and maintaining a detailed project plan, and keep the team focused on the plan & key deliverables. Ensure individual pillar plans are integrated into the full programme plan. Ensure a summary programme milestone plan is maintained, and 30/60/90 day deliverables are clear
  • Risks & issues management - maintain a clear risks and issues register at project and programme level, ensuring issues and risks are managed / resolved effectively, and escalated appropriately
  • Change Controls - maintain and manage an effective change management process, ensuring clarity of status, ownership and governance
  • Programme reporting - manage the reporting processes across the programme at project and programme level, ensuring there is effective status reporting, risks & issues reporting, and effective reports are available for key governance forums

Experience:

  • Highly experienced programme manager, who have managed large, complex projects in large organisations
  • Experience in using SCRUM Methodologies is preferred
  • Experience of procurement-related change/transformation projects
  • Some experience gained working in a Financial Services organisation
  • Excellent academic pedigree
