The position will be working within the Procurement Operations team providing expertise, oversight and governance to own, manage and develop the Oracle Procurement master data.
Responsibilities:
- Review existing Oracle implementation of this Master Data to identify opportunities for strategic and tactical improvement based on best practice experience
- Manage Programme to develop, cleanse, enhance and continuously improve the quality of the Procurement master data focusing on categorisation and classification
- Create best practice Standard Operating Procedures to manage Procurement Master data
- Support the development and management of Oracle BI Dashboards and reporting
- Develop and manage reporting that deliver operational metrics on the activities detailed above
- Engage with the Procurement team, Super Users, Legal teams and Finance teams to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with them around creation and management of Oracle Procurement master data
- Work closely with Procurement team and Super User community to identify and implement opportunities to extend the use of Oracle Catalogues
- Provide appropriate user training, support and guidance to build capability on the above
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years directly relevant experience to the role covering both Oracle Procurement and Procurement Operations development
- Oracle R12/Fusion implementation experience in the Procure to Pay modules
- Extensive experience in all stages of the implementation life cycle and BAU.
- Extensive experience in post go live optimization of Oracle Fusion Procurement system and processes
- Consulting experience around troubleshooting and solution design and development to meet business challenges and requirements
- Extensive experience around structuring, managing, cleansing and aligning large datasets including supplier data, spend dataand transactional data for management and reporting purposes
- Experience of working with Procurement functions to deliver commercial objectives and develop process solutions
- Experience within a Procurement Operations environment
