1st Executive have been retained by a leading Pharmaceutical business to manage the recruitment for an interim Logistics AEO SME for an initial 12 month contract.

This role is critical in supporting the Global Logistics function to ensure and enable the company's UK logistics operations achieve AEO status, along with securing new warehousing facilities in mainland Europe.

Role duties include;

Working with the Customs Compliance SME across related areas to enable Seqirus UK Ltd to apply for and ultimately be awarded Authorized Economic Operator status by March 2019.

Working with our freight forwarding partners, to manage the identification, auditing process, contracting and set up of new warehouses in Madrid, Brussels, Liverpool, North Carolina and Italy.

Additional Requirements:

To be able to travel across Europe and occasionally to the US.

Candidate Considerations:

1. Experienced Logistic professional worked with 3PLS and SAP
2. Relevant experience within a regulated environment
3. Strong Logistics background
4. Mid to senior level candidate
5. A confident and tenacious personality - self-starter.
