Duration: 12-Month Contract

Day Rate: £430 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Location: Berkshire, Hybrid (60/40)

Are you an experienced internal communications leader who knows how to inspire, engage and connect people through periods of transformation?

We're partnering with a global, Energy organisation undergoing significant business change and are looking for a Head of Global Internal Communications to shape and deliver a world-class employee communications strategy across an international workforce.

This is a high-profile opportunity to work alongside senior executives, influencing engagement, driving organisational change and ensuring employees remain informed, connected and aligned to the company's strategic priorities.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and deliver a global internal communications strategy that supports business objectives and transformation programmes.
  • Lead engaging employee communications campaigns across key business priorities, including safety, compliance, cyber and operational excellence.
  • Drive executive and leadership communications, including town halls, leadership events and strategic messaging.
  • Manage and optimise digital communication channels, including intranet, Microsoft Teams and employee engagement platforms.
  • Deliver impactful change communications that support adoption and business readiness.
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic communications advice and coaching.
  • Measure communication effectiveness using data, insights and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistent, engaging messaging across global and regional teams.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience leading internal communications within a large, global, matrix organisation.
  • Proven success developing and delivering enterprise-wide employee communication strategies.
  • Strong background in leadership communications, employee engagement and organisational change.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling and content development skills.
  • Experience managing digital communication channels and employee engagement platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior executives.
  • Strong analytical mindset, using data and insights to shape communications.
  • Experience using AI-enabled communications tools is a plus.
