1st Executive have been retained by a FTSE 100 Pharmaceutical company to manage the recruitment of a Global Incoterms Lead.

This position is a leadership post within a Global project standardising and automating trade compliance within the business's supply chain.

Role:

Embed the global standard for the use of Incoterms across the business

  • Embed and grow the standard compliant ways of working across the business for Incoterms
  • Embed and develop plans post the cleanse activity to ensure contracts align to new global standard
  • Manage the program of system changes such as SAP ECC process/template changes, SAP IS (Infosteward) data quality
  • Embed and run central service to manage Incoterms and the governance across the business, Including:
  • Managing the ticket service approving out of standard Incoterms and answering Incoterm related queries from the the business across the globe
  • Managing monthly reporting and quality checks to ensure the service is running effectively and the business is adhering to the standard
  • Embed and grow the SOPs and guidelines for the Incoterms service
  • Ensure that any ongoing risks are identified, mitigated, controlled and reported appropriately
  • Deliver any additional training, material and knowledge documents required by the business post roll out of the global standard

Data Cleanse Delivery
- Manage the data cleanse to ensure alignment in systems to Incoterms data specified in contracts
- Manage the prioritisation and reporting of the cleanse activity, ensuring delivery to required deadlines
- Manage the data cleanse team
- Regular reporting of accurate metrics for the status of the cleanse

Desired Skills/Experience:
- Working knowledge of Incoterms
- Working knowledge of Export and Import
- Working knowledge of supply chain
- Process development experience
- Knowledge of SAP ECC master data/CLM

Additional information:
This role will be responsible for leading the global Incoterms cleanse and service development. This will require a strong service focus and leadership experience to exceed customer's expectations and drive continuous improvements. The role will also be involved in performing cleanse activities which require technical knowledge, attention to detail and analytical skills. The role will require good communication and people skills and will require the ability to work within and lead a team
