1st Executive have been retained to manage the recruitment of an Interim Category Manager to assist with a critical project within HR - Contingent Labour

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the supply market and demand within the given category
  • Work with the business and key stakeholders to develop and agree the category strategy
  • Execute the strategy, creating and managing operational metrics
  • Establish and oversee the procurement process
  • Agree preferred supplier and tail supplier management strategies
  • Partner with the Company Leaders and their direct reports to manage pipeline of projects or programs

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of and experience in procurement category management
  • Strong category expertise within HR specifically contingent labour
  • Working in an international environment
  • Ability to communicate and influence across all different levels in the organisation
  • Track record of developing impactful relationships with senior stakeholders
