Interim Head of Procurement - £400-600/day

Interim transformational procurement role managing a small team, whilst hands-on leading sourcing and contract negotiations. This opportunity could extend to a long-term contract and additional opportunities going forwards.

This role has an immediate start and the client is looking for someone who can drive efficiencies and accelerate cost savings, from a hands-on perspective whilst also having the ability to shape future direction for the function. Category focus is manufacturing directs such as aluminium, PVC, fittings, glass etc - with other directs experience within manufacturing being considered.

Strong experience in directs procurement as part of a manufacturing environment is a must, with team management as secondary fundamental requirement. Solid experience managing internal and external stakeholders from junior through to senior level is expected, with demonstrable examples being required.

Rate: £400-£600pd

Duration: 3 months with an expectation of extension based on performance.

Location: East Midlands

Start Date: Beginning of November '18.
