Interim Head of Category Management, London - £600 per day

1st Executive are working with a prestigious public sector organisation who are recruiting an Interim Head of Category Management to be based in Central London.

You will be responsible for managing a £100m+ budget and a team of 20+ staff members to maximise the commercial benefits from contracts and drive innovation within addressable spend areas.

You will represent procurement at C-suite level with and beyond the organisation and deputise for the CPO where necessary.

You will deliver multiple high value/risk procurement programmes and manage large and complex contractual arrangements.

Experience Required:

• Leadership & management of large commercial teams
• Delivery of commercial change management including business process re-engineering
• Experience of commercial modelling
• Experience of advising and delivering procurement in line with regulations and legislation
• MCIPS (or equivalent)
