An Interim Financial Accountant at £130-160p/d is required for a global FTSE100 Manufacturing company based in the East Yorkshire. A 9-month contract, this is an exciting opportunity within Financial Accounting/Analysis for a candidate with a strong background in Finance Accounting, who is looking to develop their experience in a global, diverse and fast-paced function.

Role:

  • Responsible for reviewing business performance and generating of financial analysis, to support the Finance Business Partners and stakeholders as a Financial Accountant
  • Performance of P&L, balance sheet reviews and analysis for as advised by CC Owners and Finance Business Partners.
  • Ensure high quality, financial reporting for group, management and statutory purposes
  • Production of reports to guide function strategy and drive improvements which can be made
  • Work closely to ensure accuracy of Cost Centre reports issued to head office budget holders
  • Support the annual budget setting and forecasting process, working with the Finance Business Partner and budget holders within the business
  • Performance of ad-hoc analysis to support the UK Finance Manager, UK Controller and the FP&A team

Required Skills:

  • (Should be ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified) or (part-qualified Accountant with two years working experience in industry) or (QBE with a strong track record within industry with a minimum of three years working experience)
  • Ability to analyse financial data, draw sound conclusions and propose Solutions
  • P&L and balance sheet review and analysis to assess business performance and position. Including variance analysis, margin analysis, asset efficiency, SG&A and working capital
  • Knowledge/understanding of SAP, Cognos and Hyperion HFM is desired
  • Advanced Excel and can use MS Office suite of tools
