Interim Electrical Component Engineer - £200-£250 per day

My client, a world leader in energy in the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced Interim Electrical Component Engineer at £200-£250 per day. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation at the forefront of their field for worldwide innovation.

The Role

You will be responsible for component engineering activities and database management, including the following:

• Maintenance and improvement of the internal component database
• Conducting trend and fault analysis using the bespoke database
• Providing component information to relevant teams, ensuring that data has been inputted accurately by engineers and managing access
• Providing new component numbers and reports when requested
• Researching availability of other sources and acquiring samples where needed
• Liaising with engineers on the testing of specific components
• Managing change information and issuing the correct change documents where required

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in engineering in a relevant industry
• Demonstrable electromechanical component knowledge
• Competent in managing a database and ensuring accuracy of information
• Strong REACH and RoHS knowledge
• Able to work on own initiative or as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
