Interim Data Analytics Analyst

Client: Global, Energy Leader
Location: Hybrid - South-East England (60/40 split)
Rate: £345 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Duration: 12-Month Contract

A global energy organisation is seeking a commercially minded Data Analytics Analyst to support a high-profile transformation programme. This is an opportunity to work at the centre of strategic decision-making, helping shape programme performance through data-driven insight, forecasting, and business case analysis.

The Role:

• Managing monthly forecasting, spend tracking, and performance reporting cycles
• Supporting programme business case planning, governance, and value tracking
• Building and maintaining robust financial and workforce models in Excel
• Turning complex or incomplete datasets into clear executive-level insights
• Coordinating transformation change requests and onboarding activities
• Supporting leadership reporting and presentation materials for senior stakeholders
• Ensuring people data requests align with governance and privacy requirements

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and numerical capability with advanced Excel modelling skills
• Experience delivering actionable insights from large or ambiguous datasets
• Ability to work at pace and produce high-quality outputs under pressure
• Confident user of PowerPoint, Word, and wider MS Office tools
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Previous experience supporting transformation, finance, HR, or business case activity is highly desirable
