One of the UK's largest pharmaceutical organisations has an urgent requirement for an Interim Communications Consultant

This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential for extension offering up to £500 p/d inside IR35 for a candidate to be based in London.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Build and deliver the core communication strategy, working cross-functionally to align tactics across audiences (Omni Channel approach) with measured impact where possible.
  • Engagement with comms leads for NHSE, 3rd sector providers etc to develop a jointly owned communications plan to invigorate elimination efforts across our geographies Leadership and delivery of key awareness and testing events
  • Management, coordination and delivery of our inaugural blue-ribbon/Elimination provider event in 2022, bringing stakeholders together to share common challenges/opportunities, inspire action and remove barriers to elimination.
  • Management and future development of our Free website, establishing it as the go to platform for best practice sharing, events and progress on local micro-elimination.
  • Working with other cross-functional teams (Public/Government affairs, medical, etc.) to support and deliver Elimination Initiatives targeted at specific sub populations at risk of infection, including supporting disease awareness and outreach campaigns.
  • Internal communication of the teams' efforts and progress towards elimination to the broader affiliate and global teams.

Profile:

  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach - can leverage experience to use agencies in a supportive capacity rather than outsourcing projects.
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management - create productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders being viewed as a valued partner.
  • Communication agency experience or relevant industry experience (local or global)
  • Proficient in project management with a track record of execution and delivery
  • Strategic thinker, clear presenter and able to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Liver, viral, addiction experience all desirable
