Interim Commercial Contract Senior Manager - £800 pd (inside), Remote

Currently recruiting an Interim Senior Commercial Contracts Manager to join my esteemed public sector client, to manage a team of Contract Leads and lead Contract Management activity.

This role is an initial 4-month contract, working from home and paying up to a maximum of £800 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35)

Responsibilities:

* Manage delivery of the Commercial contract management, including performance management
* Managethe multiple contracts end-to-end, from signing to exit, negotiations and renewals
* Lead Commercial contribution to Change and Project Requests
* Work with legal to manage any contract disputes and issues
* Maintain a deep knowledge of Commercial contracts, ensure they are up to date and compliant
* Manage and performance manage the Contract Management team
* Keep audit trails and records of justification for price control

Requirements:

* 7 years managing contracts within or on behalf of government, or for key suppliers to government
* Strong strategic Commercial Acumen
* Demonstrable ability to implement commercial strategy and driving continuous improvement
* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Experience of operating in a politically sensitive environment
* Excellent business judgement and effective influencing and negotiation skills
* Strong experience and understanding of supplier relationship management
* Ideally MBA educated and MCIPS
