Role: Interim Buyer

Our client, a NYSE listed food organisation are seeking to recruit an experienced buyer with strong background in food purchasing and, ideally, working with co-packers. This is a great opportunity to join a global company and join a newly formed purchasing team.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the purchase of food as well as the maintenance and management of contracts with existing suppliers. The role will also involve demand forecasting and supporting the lead buyer in their purchasing

Experience Required

• Experience in food purchasing
• Strong background within FMCG/manufacturing/food/retail sectors
• Experience working with co-packers
• Demonstrable supplier management skills
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
