Interim Business Process Owner - SAP S/4 (Source to Pay) £460pd

Duration: Initial 12-Month Contract

Location: Remote, with occasional travel to London

Client: Major Pharma organisation

Rate: £460 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

We're supporting a major global organisation undergoing a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and are looking for an experienced, technical SAP Business Process Owner to play a key role in shaping and optimising end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes.

If you're a hands-on SAP Technical specialist who enjoys improving business processes, driving change and working across complex transformation programmes, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P/P2P) process, ensuring it is scalable, compliant and aligned with business objectives throughout an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA deployment.

Working closely with business stakeholders, IT and implementation partners, you'll help deliver robust procurement processes, high-quality master data and successful business adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and govern end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Source-to-Pay processes and Business Process Architecture.
  • Drive process design, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead business input into SAP process and workflow design.
  • Ensure high-quality vendor and business partner master data, supporting cleansing and migration activities.
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing defects through to resolution.
  • Monitor process performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and automation.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, security and technology teams to ensure compliant process design.
  • Support governance around approvals, controls and Segregation of Duties.

Requirements:

You'll be someone who has delivered SAP projects - not simply supported them.

  • Strong SAP experience (ECC and/or S/4)
  • Proven background in S2P / P2P procurement processes
  • Hands-on experience with master data (especially vendor master data)
  • Data cleansing / migration exposure
  • Experience in SAP transformation / deployment programmes

This is an urgent requirement - if interested, please apply asap and any questions, email claire.shipman@1st-executive.com
