Interim Brand Manager £425pd

A fantastic opportunity to join a world-leading energy client as an Interim Brand Manager, to provide crucial support in communicating their massive corporate change and ensuring their updated visual identity is utilised.

This FTSE 100 client is at the forefront of their field in terms of sustainability, with aims of carbon neutrality by 2050 and significant investment going into sustainable energy and the tech to support.

This is an initial contract until the end of December 2022, with excellent scope for extension, offering up to £425 per day (umbrella, inside IR35), with a hybrid approach to working from home and 2 days in their office in South-East England.

The Role:

This role will sit within my client's brand team who oversee corporate brands, advertising and visual standards, ensuring these communicate the corporate direction and processes. As the organisation has recently refreshed its visual identity, there is an increased need for support, to ensure it is correctly utilised.

You will oversee content coming in across a variety of channels, including email, Yammer and direct contact, and a range of formats, including adverts, corporate videos, and exhibition material, to support and work closely with them to make changes.

You will also be a key part of a project to put in place a network of colleagues globally and across businesses, who will support the correct usage of the client's brand. This proactive network will be built from scratch - you will define the terms of references, purpose of the network, how it is recruited and governed, and how often it meets.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Brand Management capability and experience of between c. 4 - 7 years.
  • Experience in evaluating visual standards, and working closely with agencies and designers to implement.
  • Large, global company experience, within a matrix environment.
  • Strength and resilience to manage expectations when changes need to be made to content for approval.
  • Advantageous would be any experience within global design companies or branding agencies.
