Indirect Procurement specialist

Hertfordshire

Our client a Major Global pharmaceutical organisation, are now seeking an experienced individual with strong skills within indirect procurement, which may include Marketing, Primary and Secondary Data, HR, Travel & Meetings, Fleet, FM or IT, managing the spend across UK and Ireland.

The Position

You will be required to work closely with stakeholders understanding spend requirements and negotiating prices as appropriate

Manage all commercial and contractual interactions with external suppliers.

You will be responsible for creating and developing sourcing plans for local categories based on internal requirements, supply market analysis and cost models.

Management of the end-to-end procurement process (RFI, RFQ, RFP, contract drafting & negotiation, supplier & stakeholder management)

Stakeholder management: Engages, obtains sponsorship and influences senior level stakeholders.

Management Manageso of supplier performance. Ensures agreements and relationships have a good supplier metrics embedded within them

Qualifications

Degree in Business/Finance or related field strongly preferred or equivalent, MBA /CIPS desirable.

Experience within Procurement/category management roles is required or equivalent experience in a commercial, business function.

Ideally experienced within Indirects/Professional Services Procurement (including Marketing)

Pharmaceutical / Healthcare experience is desirable.

Demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, problem solving, and conflict management skills.

Working experience in multinational companies, complex matrix organizations, exposure to international teams
