Indirect Procurement Manager - 6 Month Fixed term contract
Salary: Up to £70K + Package
Location: Basingstoke - hybrid working (3 days p/w in office)

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Indirect Procurement Manager to join a newly formed, centralised, European Procurement team on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for managing selected indirect procurement categories, with a strong focus on General Services and Technical Consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who available for a 6-month fixed term contract, and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is confident managing sourcing activities end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned indirect procurement categories, with a primary focus on General Services
- Lead sourcing activities from end to end, including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP management, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract finalisation
- Ensure competitiveness, service quality, supply continuity, and contract compliance across assigned categories
- Identify and deliver cost-saving and value improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance and service levels
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies
- Support procurement planning, reporting, and spend visibility activities
- Contribute to supplier rationalisation and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
- Strong background in indirect procurement
- Experience managing sourcing processes independently
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities - ideally gained in a role with European geographic scope
- Comfortable working with suppliers and stakeholders at multiple levels
- Analytical, structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented
- Confident working with spend analysis and supplier proposals
