Indirect Procurement Manager (9 month FTC)

An exciting new opportunity has become available for an Indirect Procurement Manager on a fixed term basis for 9 months. The role is to manage the transition of procurement activities across the UK to align to company procurement standards and support an ERP transformation. The focus will be the procurement of Indirect goods and services including those for capital projects.

Location: Hertfordshire

Title: Indirect Procurement Manager (9 month FTC)

Salary: Up to £50,000

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the procurement of In-direct goods and services, in compliance with policy and strategy developed by the Global Procurement team and process requests from within the business to ensure compliance with internal requirements
  • Work closely with the Global Procurement Team to enable delivery of ambitious annual savings targets as determined by the Leadership Team
  • Cascade Strategies developed by the Global Category Leads to the Sites and ensure these strategies are implemented in an efficient and timely manner
  • Identify and develop sourcing strategy for all procured products/services/raw materials

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Qualification - MCIPS or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • People management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
