Head of Procurement- F&B

Salary: up to £100,000 plus excellent benefits package

Our client is a Major Leisure Organisation who are collaborative and entrepreneurial in approach and who now have a requirement for a Head of Procurement for Food and Beverages.

The role reports to the Group Procurement Director covering the Direct Goods spend across the brands in the business.

This business is driven by a deeply-held set of central values which are reflected in all they do and they will therefore, need someone with not only curiosity and hungriness, but also the integrity to be an ambassador for the brands.

Key responsibilities:

As part of the Senior Leadership Team you will set and define the Direct Goods Procurement strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Lead a team of Procurement Managers, coaching and training individuals whilst, managing performance and working with them to further develop their potential

Take responsibility for managing the Supply of Direct Goods to the business, managing spend and added value service

Ensure the implementation of strong processes and procedures in a growing organisation

Ensure continuity of supply through strong risk and governance processes and supplier performance management.

Person Profile:

As Head of Procurement you will need to be a strong leader as well as an accomplished procurement professional with exceptional negotiation skills and industry acumen

Experience of managing and developing teams of individuals through change and transformation

Direct Goods Procurement experience is a must as well as solid industry experience ideally from an FMCG, Leisure/Tourism/Hospitality background

Experience of implementing processes and procedures preferably within an unstructured environment

Demonstrable experience of implementing a Buying Strategy
