Our client, a global diversified financial group with a presence in over 25 countries, is experiencing large growth across EMEA. They require 2 Sourcing Managers to help establish the greenfield function within the UK. Current spends of around £200m

Current spend profile of c£200m due to grow as procurement establishes itself across the business.
Looking to build a "Business Partner" model; therefore, you will need to be excellent at stakeholder engagement and influencing at all levels.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help build a Procurement capability in an extremely exciting organisation

Role:
Due to 'Greenfield' nature of the function, their is no defined category alignment. This is all about building relationships with the various business units and delivering sourcing projects spanning indirects, IT, FM, Corporate Services. Therefore there is an incredible amount of variety expected within the role.

By engaging and influencing executive level stakeholders, you will ensure that Procurement is positioned as a strategic advisor to the business. As a key figure within the Greenfield function, you will be a driving force in the development of Procurement strategy, framework and processes for the European function.

Experience:

You will have experience of contract and vendor management, running tendering processes and negotiating complex contracts within large, complex multinational businesses.

You will use your strong data analysis skills and be comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders up to the executive level.

You'll bring your proven ability to lead the design and implementation of Procurement strategies across the breadth of indirect categories.

Working collaboratively you'll be able to influence a broad portfolio of stakeholders spanning multiple business units and geographies

Excellent academic profile, ideally with MCIPS accreditation
