1st Executive are recruiting on behalf of a global, industry leading pharmaceutical business to further strengthen the logistics function of the business.

Your Role:

Based at the corporate office, and reporting to the Director of Global Logistics, the Global Logistics Planner will measure against a global Logistics shipment plan to all 3PLs, CMO and company sites.

Key Focus:

Monthly KPIs are to be collated for affiliates of the company and plant sites against SAP or confirmed shipment dates (managed in Excel).

Maintain dashboard of progress for the global logistics team and progress on achieving milestones and the quality of the export documentation.

Monitor, track and update on progress under the IRUP process.

Manage monthly spend/cost reports for each of the 3Pls, paying in particular attention to DHL, World Courier and Biocair. In addition, commercial affiliates costs spend is to be tracked against performance, to provide full visibility. Update KPI and cost reports on the Global Logistics Share Point.

Inventory held in SAP will be monitored and tracked through the Central Entrepreneur sites. This will act as a lead indicator for the OTIF performance on SAP Pos. STO's and Sales Orders.

Review and maintain SAP master data, in particular focusing on customs and trade compliance data as well as logistics data characteristics. Work with the master Data BPO, Head of Tax and Global Logistics.

Write Work Instructions, in collaboration with all company and DHL parties to ensure all aspects are planned. Refinements will then need to be made after the first few deliveries.

Working with freight forwarding partners, to provide them a forecasts of shipments and active/passive cold chain solutions. Actively manage vendor Service Level Agreements.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to travel across Europe and occasionally to the US.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Experienced Logistic professional worked with 3PLS and SAP
  2. Experience of gaining AEO certification (ideal)
  3. Relevant experience within a regulated environment.
  4. Strong Logistics background
  5. Self-starter mentality with a confident personality
